Name(s): Cowboy Bebop: Ein’s Summer Vacation / Cowboy Bebop: Ein no Natsuyasumi / Cowboy Bebop Special / Ein’s Summer Holiday / アインのなつやすみ
Format: Special (1 1-minute episode)
Studio(s): Sunrise

This one-minute short was included with the Japanese Cowboy Bebop Blu-rays. Even for a bonus, this kind of sucks. It’s just still watercolor-esque images of Ein lazing around in the sun, surfing, etc. At the end, a shocking twist reveals that it was all a dream and that someone drew eyebrows on Ein with a marker. Even the “cute factor” isn’t too high here, but it’s one minute, so what’s the point of me recommending to skip it? Still a shame that they had the opportunity to create new animation for Cowboy Bebop and just… didn’t.
