Monster‘s themes aren’t particularly deep, and it occasionally dabbles in ridiculous melodrama. That’s not as important as the fact that this is an original premise for an unpredictable thriller. The story crafts a disturbing environment where no one and nothing feels safe or secure. Just a non-stop chain reaction of unfortunate, pulse-pounding encounters.
