I never wrote a review of Shiki proper, but I am quite a fan of it. I would consider these specials to be necessary watching, and I would recommend watching them in their chronological slots. That’s just a warning for those who plan checking this series out. Great stuff in here that fleshes out certain plot developments and characters more, and has emotional impacts that succeed in the same ways that made the show’s full finale so strong. It’s just more of the good stuff, and cumulative to the entire quality of Shiki.
