Thank god this was a thing that happened. I saw this commercial ages ago but they made a new one in 2015, so its episode count has been off on my list. It’s slightly under one minute, with Char driving to his base in his red-hot Zeonic Toyota™ car because Japan is a magical place where you can actually sell shit like that and make money. His red Zaku is flying beside him, piloted by… Lalah, for some reason. They both reach the base and Char switches spots with her in the Zaku.

There’s a lot more speaking lines this time around, and since I don’t have subs part of me feels bad for rating this, because I probably missed out on essential bits where Char goes on about how powerful the Zeonic Toyota™’s engine is. Oh well. There are already no shortage of reasons as to why American cars are inferior to Japanese ones, and they just got one more. That said, cars are an outdated, woefully inefficient and destructive mode of transportation that has persisted in spite of those facts due to extensive lobbying from automobile manufacturers. Don’t buy into the propaganda like Char did.
