AKA: Rambo

When I heard First Blood was an action movie that focused on strategy and stealth over acrobatics and luck, I was sure I was going to love it. Hell, it even stars Sylvester Stallone. Who isn’t charmed? But boy, it’s practically false advertising whenever the tension starts to set in because it’s immediately taken away to focus more on the goddamn police procedural, which always comes down to just further hyping up Rambo as a badass. How about you fucking show us, instead? So close to greatness.
