Velocity : Design : Comfort is quality, spacey, happy, dreamy IDM with a lot of sudden glitch beats. Pleasant female vocals for about half of the album that sound exactly like Mary Hansen of Stereolab, both in voice and inflection.

Despite what the genre tags may say, this is absolutely not shoegaze. Don’t go in expecting noisy guitars, because there aren’t any, except for a few seconds of some tracks. Still recommended, though. One of my favorite IDM albums I’ve heard, despite the fact that it’s at least 10 minutes too long. The band doesn’t have enough ideas to fill all 73 minutes.
