The Wicker Man is an awesome movie, which you obviously know if you’re at this page, and part of that is because it has an awesome soundtrack, which you obviously know if you’re at this page.
Unfortunately, the soundtrack is too “literally” organized like most soundtracks, separating the traditional vocal songs (the ones you’re getting this for) into one half and the instrumental backing songs into the second half. Gives it a weird flow, and makes the inconsistency all too obvious because you’re not very likely to enjoy the second half much outside of the movie’s context.
If, for some reason, you’re interested in this before seeing the movie, I highly recommend against that because the unique and eerie personality of these songs that makes them so great is given connotation by The Wicker Man. It won’t be the same.
