Animation is brilliant of course, which you should know already since Redline exists. It sucks that Trava: Fist Planet is such a short OVA, because the speed at which it moves is so fast that you feel like you’re missing a lot of cool details in every scene as they happen in a fraction of a second.

This is more humorous than Redline. Trava and Shinkai are different characters here, being burnout slackers looking for a quick fortune. The art style is the same but the visuals and lazy atmosphere are largely more psychedelic and stoner-esque than Redline. I guess Redline is cocaine and Trava is more like heroin.
